In opening Passport to Learning Language Immersion Center, it is my goal to offer a unique, multi-language immersion program to families in Saint Louis. After ten years in the classroom teaching French and Spanish as second languages, I found myself looking again at daycare options after the birth of my youngest child. With my experience with French, Spanish and Portuguese languages, the timing was perfect for me to create the program I was looking for. 

 

We are now enrolling our first classroom, the French classroom. This means that the primary immersion language (targeted 60% of instructional time) will be French. Children will also spend up to 20% of their day engaged in English, with activities prioritizing kindergarten readiness. A targeted 20% of the day will also be dedicated to activities in the other program languages, Spanish and Portuguese.
